Default To me...the hoodline in this pic is my favorite feature of the MK2>>>

it is really clean..and looks better in real life...

<img src="http://images16.fotki.com/v299/photos/8/89907/3435118/P4120402-vi.jpg">

The back is pure 911, IMO.....not that this is bad....Most of the design "crew" that i was walking around with said the same thing. The rear on the MK2 is just not as expressive as the MK1....

The interior is moves from the "minimalist/purist" approach, and goes more touring GT, IMO. The materials are gorgeous, the finish in most areas is as good as the Mk1 if not better....

It will sell...but, if you are after something more towards a pure sports car, it leaves a bit to be desired....IMO

Default That is like somebody just took one whole sheet of metal, molded it to

the shape of the car and then laser cut off the hood - the lines are absolutely perfect. Those wheels are gorgeous as well....just a question, are they machined as they are real shiny ?

Default Look at you Hans... right in the mix..<edit>

Great pics, going thru them I felt like I took a test drive... thanks! The side profile shots look the best to me when you can't see the gaping shield or the (missing) round rear end ;-(

Still no boost gauge???

Default Nice pics! It's really starting to grow on me. Can't wait to see it myself.

Some random thoughts/comments...

The hood line *is* very nice.

The gauge pod is damn sexy, love it!

Still not keen on the loss of the rear fender/trunk crease, but this is a *new* design and I think can live without it. At least that area will be easier to clean.

Also not really liking the fog light area, a plain intake grille would look better/cleaner and the fogs are useless anyway (at least IMO). I'm sure that there will be an aftermarket option for this.

And why did they *still* put in the rear seats? For insurance? For Euro and/or US DOT reasons? I was secretly hoping that they would disappear or become an option on the Mk II. Totally useless and waste of good cow hide IMO... and extra weight!

This is also still a Euro spec model. I wonder how the addition of US DOT reflectors to the headlamps will affect the clean look. My guess is that they will look like crap. Looks like the tailights already have the side reflectors and they look good.

Also TWO privacy shelves in back? Twice the rattle on the Mk II?

Also note the electric seat controls. That's a nice addition. Does it have memory?

Did I mention that the gauge pod is damn sexy?

Roof is very clean, but no more roof rack mount points. SUPER bummer.
