Default I'm doing APR exhaust on Sunday, and was snooping around the Bentley manual only to find...

that the factory exhaust appears to be one long piece, whereas the APR exhaust is two. I bought it used and from what I can tell, there are two bolts missing that hold the two pieces together, so can I just use any bolt that will fit it?

Default Go to Home Depot..>>

and get a pair of stainless ones. You won't have to worry about rusting or corrosion..

get some nice stainless bolts from the hardware store (whatever will fit)

Default jackstands and ramps

i backed the rear wheels up on the ramps and used the jackstands to help support the exhaust in several places when i needed another hand.

Default If you do a search you'll find a lot of info on exhaust installs>>

Make sure you have the tools and high temp sealant to seal the centre clamp and the flange.Job should take about two hours. use some soap or WD 40 to lubricate the rubber hangers to make them easier to take off and on. The two rear hangers I found easier to unbolt and take off the stock muffler on the ground. reassemble in reverse order.

Spray release agent on center clamp bolts some time before they can be tight
