heat shield loose again.....and sounds like
an obese woman wearing a daisy patterned apron is slapping the back of the car with a frying pan everytime i hit 3000rpm.

The star "nuts" rust...
and don't necessarily hold very well to begin with. I used some Shoe Goo (it's like a heavy duty RTV silicone) between the heat shield and the body at a few points.
I'm assuming it's the heatshield above the exhaust pipe, not above the muffler, since that one is bolted.
Also, the splash shields on the rear brakes can rattle against the the control arm attachment points - put some Shoe Goo in there too to quiet it down.
