The internet has failed me thus far. What size tires should go on 19x9.5 in wheels?
I've been hunting on Google and the only things I can find are tire size explanations and comparisons... but nothing that'll tell me what size tire for what size rim.
Best I could guess would be 275/35/19.

what exactly does "won't fit" mean? I've heard that, but no one's given a reason other than
rubbing if you try to turn the wheels all the way.
My situation is that the wheels I ordered a while ago I just discovered are 9.5 in whide instead of 8.5 like I ordered (even says 8.5 in on the box). Problem is the company is in the UK... and I don't want to deal with that. So I'm going to test fit a tire on Sun and see how it is... if they don't fit I'll order new wheels and/or try to get the UK people to send me new ones in 8.5.

My situation is that the wheels I ordered a while ago I just discovered (just opened the boxes and took 'em out last week) are 9.5 in whide instead of 8.5 like I ordered (even says 8.5 in on the box). Problem is the company is in the UK... and they special ordered them from Germany for me... and I don't want to deal with that if at all possible. So I'm going to test fit with a used tire on Sun and see how it is... if they don't fit I'll order new wheels and/or try to get the UK people to send me new ones actually in 8.5.
