Hey guys, looking through the clear corner write ups, I'm finding I have a couple of questions...
I'm thinking (read gearing-up) of doing a clear corner/angel eyes/caractere grille install, and wondered a couple of things:
First, how long should it take me to do all of these at the same time? Estimate using the skills of a pretty sharp monkey, because that's about where I am right now.
P I'm thinking of painting the light housings too, btw.
Plus, is there a comprehensive list somewhere of all the tools that would be needed?
So far, I know you need:
a jack
two jack stands,
an oven
a 17mm socket for the lugs (I'm using a torx)
a torque wrench
and...
Can anyone list off the top of their head what else may be needed?

You need a deep well 10 mm socket (1/4 drive is good) to get to the two
nuts in the wheel well for each headlight. You also need T-20 and T-25 torx bits for various screws.
If you can, take your time on painting the housings. Take over a day with many light coats of paint. You can do other items in the mean time, so it isn't lost time.

Thanks. I'm wondering what kind of special care I might need to take
with any plastic rivets or screws, or some other crazy parts.. I'm really nervous thinking about it.
I may have to allow myself more time, but I'm only off for two days in a row!

Don't lose the center of the plastic plug/connectors that hold on the plastic cover
in front of the engine. Also be VERY careful when removing your old amber corners and installing your new corners. The tabs in the black housing are very fragile and are NOT repairable...
No other problems with fragile parts, I think. Just don't drop anything in the engine or on the floor where it can get lost.

coupla things
Have a heavy blanket - or a chaise lounge pad (which I used) under the bumper so you can set it down on something soft.
Clamp and/or bucket for the washer fluid hose to the aliens.
Plan on letting the second layer of bondo covering the holes left by the orange reflector set up overnight. We rushed mine, and it shows.

I bought some Bondo brand "glazing and spot putty." Will this alone do the trick with sanding it down?

use a small block of wood wrapped in real fine paper.
I think the color was something like "medium charcoal" or something like that. I can't recall the brand.
And I am NOT buying that particular car back. Not unless the dealer changes the magazines in the waiting room!!!
