but it's no "TT". Sorry, from this angle I think it looks like the "new" Audi molested a Z, and this is the psychologically scarred aftermath. Still a nice car, though, emotional baggage and all...

I really want to like it, but...
I really want to like it, but I just cannot get over the way they messed up the clean lines, which were what attracted me to the TT in the first place. The MkII just has too many "fiddly bits". If they got rid of the horizontal lines on the sides, I would consider it, but as is, I will take the UrTT over MkII any day.

in 1999 I saw 1 - JUST ONE - photograph of the current TT and I started scrapping up my cash to afford one. even to this day, I'll turn my head to get a good look at one passing by - even as I'm driving my own. I see other folks in their TT and we wave at each other - complete strangers, but we wave b/c of the simple fact that we both feel in love with this car.
the new TT can run me over, and I don't think it will change my opinion. it's a nice car, don't get me wrong - but it doesn't make my eyebrows perk or my trigger that latent school girl glee that I get every morning I walk past my driveway.
i'm open to the possibility, but so far, it's already failed to reach up to the bar
