Getting some extensive lag
Thanks in advance.
Jim
PS - I would also appreciate any links to "How to's" for any suggestions you do make. If you don't have one, it's cool post anyway.
You're due for plugs at 40K. Do em now and you might notice a difference. Also put a new Green temp sensor in as that is a chronic warm up issue. Otherwise all the sensors that read various conditions on the engine will not smooth things out, provide optimum fuel mixes etc. until things are up to temp. I don't think anything's wrong actually that the above won't minimize...
All the How to's are at the FAQ link below..
I Don't want to send you off in the wrong direction - it just sounded very familiar and thought it worth mentioning. I'm also NOT a very good source of TT info (yet) so I would do what Steve said.
BTW, mine's a 2002 w 43k mi//40k svc was done at 35k miles and did not help the problem...
The tech did mention that the temp sensor has been a problem with the car running rich and it has been throwing codes in TT's. (The black sensor only.) This is some repeat info since some other people have said this in your thread already, but the new sensor is green. My car is at 60k and the guy said he also replaced my spark plugs because the old ones looked bad. That's all I know. I hope it helps you.-Adam
