Default New TT = No Soul

The new TT is truly unencumbered by style. I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I just saw the pics of the new TT and it made me want to cry. The original TT has so much soul. The new model should be called the A4 coupe. The interior is bland. The body lines uninspired. Audi has essentially morphed the TT into yet another boring pile of sheet metal.

Needless to say, I'll be keeping my '01.

Default My thoughts too. Gee you can get a A3 S-line with DSG...>>

and all the options for around 8K less than the new TT with the same engine , tranny, and Haldex. Also, the A3 interior looks more like the Mk1 TT than the new TT.

I'm still shaking my head.

Default I like the new TT a lot, though I do agree >>>

that it does not have the unique style of the original, I do think it captures the incremental design update from there. I love the clean lines with the hidden spoiler and the fact that it is aluminum front and steel rear so the car should be a lot more sporty than the current one.

The interior, however, I like of the current TT better in terms of style.

The new TT is on my list at #1 as my next car, so far.
