Hey, I don't have much money, but the mod bug is biting hard now...

I'm thinking of restitching my seats and door panels.

I've envisioned that if I buy one of those curved needles and some different color thread, I can do it myself and save several hundred dollars.

Does anyone know if the stitching that's in there now is really functional--as in if it really holds the pieces of "leather" together?

I'm thinking of going with a red or a white thread to re-stitch it with. Ummm, I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

Really, how hard do you think it can be to just sew a thread into existing holes?

not to be a buzzkill but didnt u posted last nite that you want to sell your car?

due to insufficent fund? not like i want that happen but if you have no money to pay for the car, it would be wise not to mod your car and focus on monthly payment. just a thought.
