Default Update on dead TT...

Well it appears as some of you suggested that my TT needs a new fuel pump. (Original thread below).

Apparently the pump is not activating, however they are having issues finding the access plate to get to the pump as their CD Manual shows an incorrect location - any input from here?

Hopefully this will not be the $$$$ repair I was fearing yesterday, thanks to all who provided input.

Original Thread

Default Dealer can't find the fuel pump?....Go figure...>>

Under the rear seat (or carpet in your case), passenger side under the access plate.

Default Thank you Sir! Car isn't at the dealer....

It's at a local VW/Audi independant, lots of 1.8T experience, but mine is the first TT Roadster they've done this on...interestingly there seem to be a lot of posts about Fuel Pump failures on the A4 boards, it looks like AoA is actually recalling A4's for this issue. Doesn't seem to be as much of a common problem on the TT from what I've read.

Thanks again for your help

Default Make sure it has at least a 1/4 tank...

The if there is not enough gas in the tank it wont kick the pump on......Mine was down for 2 days and that is all it needed to get the new pump to kick on
