They don't state that it's Rieger, but it looks like the same kit. Feedback is decent, and the way I figure it, even if it's not a perfect kit, I can modify and reinforce it. Anyone had experience getting off brand body kits from ebay or elsewhere?<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-TT-R1-FULL-LIP-KIT-FULL-BODY-KIT-ONE-LEFT_W0QQitemZ8058204251QQcategoryZ36475QQrdZ1QQcm dZViewItem">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-TT-R1-FULL-LIP-KIT-FULL-BODY-KIT-ONE-LEFT_W0QQitemZ8058204251Q

Default It's fiberglass, it's a knock-off. Whether it is worth it depends on how much time and money

you want to spend to get it to fit, then again every time you touch a curb and splinter it to pieces.

Default What is the actual Rieger kit made of?

I thought alot of good body kits are actually made of fiberglass...but I may be wrong.

I believe the real one is made of ABS. Ask UNeek, he just had one installed.

Default If you hit a curb with an ABS kit, doesn't it chip the paint anyway?

So you'd have to get work done on it either way, right?

But you would just have to have the scratch touched up, rather than having the bumper patched.

Default Go ahead and throw your money away....Others have...>>

One guy here reported fit was so bad he threw the parts away.. These are rip-offs, molded off the originals which didn't fit that well to begin with..

Default Fiberglass cracks and has no "give" when hitting things. Repairs are complex.

Fiberglass kits should be outlawed for Audis. Our cars have VERY long noses, and are very likely to impact driveways and curbs. Fiberglass has zero tolerance for that kind of thing.
