Woot, My first speeding ticket -- Argued by myself and cop -- I win!
hahaha. He ticketed me for 71 in a 70, said it was too fast for conditions. I guess people really do get jealous, because this officer had it in for me.
When the judge found out the "conditions" were 1.5" of rain over an *8 hour long* rain shower, he threw it out.
12 years and counting, no tickets at all! Woot!

71 in a 70 is pretty weak. I got one for 60 in a 55 once and I'm an ex cop!...
He also wanted to write me for no seatbelt and I *always* wear my seatbelt (took it off when the car stopped out of habit).
What a dick! You got one too, unfortunately. Normally, I don't have too much sympathy for ticket whiners, but yours sounds like garbage from the onset.
