Default Camber kits y'all

Ok, so i've been doing a bunch of research on rear camber kits because I have bad inner tire wear in the rear, though strangely the front is just fine - I think it's because of the setup?

Anyways, which camber kits do you guys recommend for a 2001 QC? I hear KMAC is popular.

Good sites/stores for prices?

TIA

Default I have K-macs on the upper and lower arms...>>

They helped set the toe-in as well as the camber.

Takes a little while to remove the old bushings but the supplied tool helps.

Just remember to have the car aligned afterwards.

Default Is that all for the rear of the car, or for the front too? also,

How much did they run you for the parts? I plan to buy the kit, from ttstuff.com -- not sure if there is any better place?

Also I will then take it to euro-tire in northern NJ to have it installed.

Default I got mine from www.shox.com. No need for the front as toe-in is adjustable...>>

and camber is a little. In order to fully adjust the camber and caster (caster can't be adjusted), Ground Control makes a plate that adjusts both.

Hope this helps.

Ground Control...

Why choose K-macs over adjustable tie-bars?

Default They allow for easier toe adjustment.....

A single set of tie-bars is for camber only, and many cars have not had enough adjustability at the trailing arm pivot to bring toe into line..

Default that was a big help, but because the front is fine, i don't think i'll

that was a big help, but because the front is fine, i don't think i'll need the Ground Effects Plate.

I will have to somehow figure out how much my car is lowered, or maybe Euro Tire can tell me. I will then buy either the 1/2 kit or the full KMAC kit from ttstuff.com or shox.com both sites sell the kit for about the same price.

Hey, i also want to start doing this stuff myself eventually, instead of having to pay a shop to do it. What's the best instructional book out there, I hear things about Bentley Publishing making good books. For my old cars i use Haynes, but they don't make one for the TT.

Default From your picture...>>

It looks like you'll need a full Kmac set. Up to about an inch you can get away with half a kit. On instructions, The Bentley CD is the only thing available. Lots here have posted How To's and put together pictorials. Click the FAQ below my sig for lots of info. On lowering, read my thread just below for more info..

Effects of lowering on Camber
