Clear Bra in NY/NJ area
- I've heard that these clear bras come in different thicknesses. What manufacturer offers a bra on the thicker side. I'm looking for the most protection I can get while still not having it stick out like a sore thumb
- Would I save cash purchasing the clear bra directly, and bringing it to an installer rather than bying the bra from them? Will they even allow this?
- Is there an installer in the NY/NJ/PA area that gets a `thumbs-up' for high-quality work at a reasonable price? I don't have a ton of cash to spend on this, but don't want a half-a$$ job either
- What should I expect to pay for the whole job? (the standard kit and install - covering the front components, not the hood and sides)
Any other info you guys have is appreciated.
Thanks Much,
Michael
I installed myself last weekend. A little fussy, but no tougher than wallpapering, and it looks great (virtually invisibly). Looks the same as my dealer was trying to sell me when I bought the car. And much, much cheaper.
Drawbacks? Fit was OK, with some extra material at the edges needing trimming. And some pieces were missing from my order (they're trying to get me an answer today).
