Default Two months ago I had to be towed in because of coil packs........
they replaced two of them and the plugs. Same smell and flashing CEL again tonight. Had to have it towed in. So after almost four hours from the start I am finally back home and the FU_KIN TT is sitting at the dealer for service. I was disapointed the first time, but I'm pissed this time.

I feel your pain. FWIW, the same thing could happen in just about any other modern car.

Default i carry 2 spare coilpacks and a small set of tools to make the repair on the road...
a 5mm allen wrench
10mm socket
screwdrivers
flashlight

that's just the minimum.
