Default friday's lame poll: painting caliper, yay or nay?
anyone successfuly painted their caliper? if so, did yo polish it first? my friend just painted his caliper on this Murano, and paint job was fine but the caliper itself was pretty rough. it wasn't as smooth as I expected. do you sand it down or something? what's the trick?

it looked really good from a distance, but it also looked somewhat ghetto from close distance.

Yes, many of us have done this. Do a search and you will find lots of pictures.

Just cleaned mine with wire brush, sand paper and brake cleaner.
