Does anyone have a picture of the "spare tire" compartment in a 3.2?...
I'm thinking about dropping the spare tire in favor of a tire repair kit and possibly a second battery in the rear, just wondering how they did it in the 3.2's. Also, what all does Audi provide for tire repair in the 3.2's?

The thing in the lower right corner is...
The air compressor. The "fix-a-flat" in the top of the pic hooks up to the cannister. I haven't used it so far and hope not to have to.

I don't recommend the change for a 225 or 180 TT...>
I think there is little gain and a lot of effort and would not be cost effective.
I have a 3.2 TTQC. I am moving towards getting a spare rim and tire and keeping it in the hatchback in one of those vinyl bags from Clair Parts.
Given the condition of roads, especially after the Winter monsoons, I am thinking it would be nice to carry a spare tire so when I call AAA, I have the spare on board, as opposed to calling my wife first to have her deliver one to me from the second set in our garage.
