Need some help with a part number: hose from the N75->wastegate
I spent over 30 min with the parts guy trying to figure out which hose in the ETKA diagram actually corresponds to this hose on the car, and we eventually decided to order one and see if it's right. Does anyone have the correct part number for this hose, as I'm still unsure about whether we identified the correct one. Having the correct part number would be very helpful in the event that we ordered the wrong one today.
On a related note, would it be possible/acceptable to replace that hose with a regular piece of vacuum hose that has the same inner/outer diameter, or would it be better to use the oem part? Thanks!

ok, form what i can gather...you need to first tell me whether the part on the car...
was two hoses with a union, or just one hose. depending on that, you need either the appropriate #49 or #50.

that's the diagram we were looking at yesterday
it's a single hose, which makes me think it's #49. The only thing that doesn't make complete sense is that other forum members who have replaced this hose have noted that it's an inexpensive part, but the dealer's price guide said it's ~$100 IIRC!

is it grey? because he N75 hoses im familliar with have one ID at one end and
another ID at the other end. i.e. its not just a hose, its an adapter of sorts.
if yours looks like the grey hoses attached to the N75 in the pic below, and you give me the length of the TT hose, i can cross reference a part number from another audi that may work.
