Have I told you my story of how it took me 12 hours to change my...
coolant temperature sensor? Well, here's a point by point play.
1. Let the car sit overnight
2. Got up a little early to change it out
3. Dropped the plastic clip down into the engine bay
4. Spent way too much time trying to find it
5. Drove wife to in-laws house where she borrowed a car
6. Drove wife's car to work
7. Worked all day long thinking of how stupid I am
8. Went to dealer after I got off to buy new clip
9. Came home only to drop rubber gasket into engine bay
10. Dropped new clip into engine bay
10.1 Not so bad this time because I tied a string to it!
11. Drop car off at in-laws and bring car back home.
12. Use chewing gum, a tootsie roll, and finally a metal skewer to fish the clip and the gasket out of engine bay
13. Clip new sensor in place.
Total time 11 hours and 58 minutes
It is SO fun being mentally challenged!
