Default Went for a drive.... car is, I think, misfiring at idle...

I sat in the driveway for a bit after for a cooldown (a/c off) and every few seconds or so there would be a 'bump & jerk' noise or feel and the idle would dip a bit.

also checked the oil level... its a bit on the low side (low side of the full mark) and although the consistancy, color and clarity are good... there were some bubbles on the dipstick (oil bubbles.. not milkshake bubbles..)

Its just now at 28k miles... I think I'll just take it in for the 30k service early instead of topping it off... what should I have them check? sparkplugs? coilpacks?

hell for all I know it could have always done this.... its been so long since I've actually driven around.

Default check for codes stored

have them give you a printout of the scan.

Default could be a coil pack that is starting to show>>>

signs of going bye bye. VAG should should show a misfire if it truly is bad Dani...TT is really sensitive to minor fluxuations in electrical current....

Default Same thing is happening to me...

I'm getting it towed to the dealer because my check engine light came on. BlueTTop hooked his VAG up and all 6 cylinders (I have the 3.2) is misfiring as well as the rpms were registering to high or something like that. He cleaned the MAF & all but the misfiring codes went away. I too had it in storage till I took it out back on the 1st. I had a full tank before I put it in so I didn't fill it up until I went on a 350 mile trip this past weekend. When I got to my destination, I noticed it was hesitating/sputtering. I tapped on the throttle and the revs climbed up to 21K and it didn't go down till a few seconds later. At that moment the check engine light came on. I'm thinking it was the gas that I got just before my trip or it might have been the fuel "preserver" that I used prior to storing my car. Did you use any kind of fuel additive before storing the car? If so, maybe this is what caused it. Because other than that I feel it might have been bad fuel but somehow I don't think Chevron (even though it's a small town) would sell ****ty fuel. I could be wrong though. So my car is on its way to the dealer on the back of a flat bed in a few minutes actually.
