ok. so i say again. R8 performance speculation. IF RS4 engine and 6spd manual...

which i believe shall be the only launch specification- should produce 0-60 in 4.2 and 1/4 mile in 12.5 at about 115 mph.

what say you folks?

i say there is no way that car will get stock RS4 engine. Plus you can bet on the fact that it will

come with DSG only. (my opinion)

may the god of quattro hear you brother.

i could see a powered up RS4 engine making 450 hp or but not much more. that engine is almost maxxed out. the DSG is at least a year away IMO.

... half right. Of the engine/transmission combo you only hit one on the head. The other was miles off. Still, if we were talking baseball you'd be batting .500.

assuming you meant maaliish's post i believe I am right. no DSG and a souped up RS4 engine. titanium connecting rods with a 9000 RPM limit pushing 450 hp in the RS4 engine. any takers?
