10 more mpg @ $3/gal = $1200/year @ 15k/year.
+ higher insurance & the fact that $3 is just the start makes that an idiotic thing to say.

Same thing happened to the guy who sold me my 2002 QC......
He bought a 2006 Lexus SC 430 for somewhere around $67k and called me up to see if he could have his TT back. I told him sorry but I was in love and that I wouldn't trade him even for his SC "if" I had to drive it and would not be allowed to sell it (which I would do in a heartbeat).
