Easy (read:Cheap) under-hood Bling - SS Strut Bar Nuts
While waiting, waiting, waiting, for the new engine cover fasteners, I took a look at a spot that may have been over-looked; the strut bar.
An Easy fix and dress-up to the black OEM nuts are Stainless Steel Acorn nuts.
These are Stainless, not chrome-chrome is available.

Parts are sourced from McMaster-Carr.
Part Number: 94000A039 $7.12 per Pack of 10
M8 - Metric Thread Pitch1.25 mm
Thread Depth7.87 mm
Thread Direction Right-Hand Thread
Width 13 mm
Height 15 mm
Add to it a SS spring washer, as a lock washer.
(look closely, they are there.)
You may want to increase this to 18 or 20 mm, but the 16 is just fines, matches the OEM flange nut.
