The Kentucky Region Porsche Club of America is having their Summer Driver Education Event at <a href="http://www.putnampark.com/">Putnam Park Road Course</a> on June 16, 17, 18.

I am on the board for the event and would like to invite any TT'ers that are interested to come out to our event. Putnam Park is a great track set in the middle of a huge field with lots of run-off in Mount Meridian Indiana just west of Indianapolis.

There will be a cook out at the host hotel on Friday night and a Saturday night dinner as well where everyone can tell lies about their times and who was holding them up all day.

I know there is an Audi event the following weekend at Putnam but if you can't make the Audi event or would rather beat up on some Porsches then we would love to have some TT's out on the track with all of us track junkies.

Is the Charles Tucker on your list a professor at the U of I? The Charles Tucker in my department lives in savoy, and has a Porsche too. Wondering if it's the same person...

And this event sounds like lots of fun!

 

but I don't know what the other one teaches. I think the physics guy drives a Seal Gray 996 Turbo. He was my instructor a couple of schools ago, very nice guy -- fast too.

and yes, the event will be lots of fun -- come out and show off your quattro.

 

Are TT roadsters allowed?

 

For all other convertibles a roll bar that meets the "broomstick" test is required.
