Default Decisions Desicions (brakes)

So, I have to change the pads on my car. I checked out the rotors and they need replacing also.

BBKs flashing through my head... mmmm Pricey.

I found the Wilwood kit 140-8276D for under $800. That seems do-able. Not really a BBK as the rotor is a stock sized floater.

Would it be worth it to do the Wilwood kit with ss lines and some matching rear rotors with pads, or should I just get four matching rotors and pads and call it a day?

If I end up doing the Wilwood kit, does anyone know what would be a good rear rotor/pad setup that would keep a fairly stock balance?

I've heard that kit is good for street and autocross, so if you track, you might want keep looking..

Default I don't plan on doing anything on the track with my car.

My track choice is motorcyle. I may eventually do a DE.

Brembo or StopTech. You'll get much better stopping performance.

Default why even do them if you aren't on the track

the stock system is plenty ample for autocross. put some nice pads on it with stainless lines on the front and enjoy.

Default That's what I'm leaning towards

I need to replace the rotors anyway, so I was looking at BBK. I didn't want to spend over 1k on the fronts, so I was wondering about the Wilwood kit.

So, I'm leaning towards powerslots f/r, ss lines and the PBR pads.

So, Autoanything has the best price on the powerslots and they link from Fatwallet so I can get a 5% cash back. Yay! Just have to wait for them to get the rears back in stock.

Default front slotted: ps $125-5%, ecs $160

But I'll be getting the pads and rear caliper tool from ecs.
