Lubing sway bar, what to use, grease? KY Jelly?

Creaking noise is so loud now that the temp here in SoCal is above 80 degrees. Creaking is so loud that its embarassing. Not sure what to use to lube it. Is lithium grease ok to use? I plan on injecting inside the sway bar bushing wiht a hyperdermic needle. Not sure if that will work though.

Creaking on the front? if so you're outta luck..>>

Lubing won't help. Plastic bushings are rotating on the bar. There is a factory fix for this (new bar) or you could cut them off and replace with a set of poly bushings. Any lubing you attempt will be a temporary fix at best...

but you can't squirt it in... you have to remove rear bushings, clean and relube

Steve - If plastic sleeve is cut off, what size poly bushings fit the stock bar on a 225?

It's cuz them bushings are dry.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/43168/squeeky_bushings.1.jpg"></center><p>Spray some silicon lubricant on them like in the picture, but soak 'em. That should take care of you for a couple months. Works real well for me.
