Hey I know nothing about wheels please help me... 18x7 5x100 offset of 40?

Is that right? Will it fit...Do I need spacers ? 7 inches wide enough? Help is poor fool make a informed choice..

They will fit but..

My wheels are 17x7 and offset of 42mm. IT does fit but the rims are not flushed against the fenders (they go in).. I need to get some 15-25mm spacers to push them out. Remember stock rim is wider (17x7.5). Also dont forget hubcentric rings..VERY important.

No, 18" s/b at least 8" wide. 5x100 is correct. Offset 35 or 30 to use w/out spacers.>>>

Hubcentric for Audi hub is vital.

18x7 is really not right for the 225/40x18 tires. And for 235/40x 18 tires, 7 width is really too narrow.

Pass and get some rims from Hartmann or Achtuning, IMO.
