One of my family members was on his way to work early this morning around 5 AM. When he got to the drive way, he discovered a man inside of my TT! According to him, the suspicious man seemed have broken into my car not too long ago when he was discovered. The a-hole then ran away immediately.

I got to my car as soon as I was informed of this, and inspected to see if anything was missing or damaged in any way. I found my wallet, which i left in the center compartment the night before, on the floor. Luckly the man only took the cash (like.... um.. $3) and didn't take my credit cards, personal checks, .... any my entire wallet! (talk about relief.. whew) He must have thought what he had was 3 hundred dollar bills.

Anyway.. I live in a very quiet suburban neighborhood with most of neighbors being a young married couple with little children. I can't believe this happened. My family sometimes doesn't lock the doors of our cars, and we never locked our house doors for decades. I guess that is going to be changed now.

I have the factory alarm on my car, and it didn't go off. I must have forgotten to lock my car. do you think I should

1) get a better alarm
2) always park in the garage
3) get the car cover with lock

man, i'm going to get a baseball bat and wait for him every night, and beat the hell out of him before I turn him to the police. (NOT! i'm too lazy to do that ) thanks for reading.

 

you won't need a better alarm if you just remember to lock it! you got lucky this time.

actually i don't think i've ever tried this before. does the alarm go off when we try to open the door when it's locked? like.. when you pull the door handle..
