Default OEM are Monroe oil charged and "mushy" IMO, aftermarket gas charged shocks give the TT...

...that proper "German Car Feel"(tm).

Seriously. Just getting a set of Bilstein shocks using the OEM springs is a HUGE upgrade in handling!!

Default Answer: Because it sucks eggs

The car won't bounce around and roll nearly as much. It will feel more responsive and you will feel more in control.

Do a search. Read what people say after they've done the upgrade. You won't regret it.

Default you should consider it, better yet do it if: you would like a firmer more responsive ride. if...

that's something that is s not important to you, or you wouldnt benefit from, then there no point in wasting your money. otherwise is money well spent. it will make the car alot funner to drive. that was the first thing i did to mine FWIW

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Some people have had issues,or seek performance gains on the track

Default 'Twas money well spent in my case.

I had 30k mi on the clock when I did it. The car is much better, and I'm still on stock springs.

Default I suppose that would be different than my 05' 3.2?....

at 15K I'm getting to the point where I *think* some suspension work would make a difference to me.
