My recent poor ride/steering. Its all tires!...>>>
Went for a ride yesterday in 57 deg weather and the car is back to driving great. Tread is pretty low, but still handles great. When we had a heat spell last week, the car took on a different attitude. It was very very, sloppy and doing all kinds of weird stuff. Felt like the wheels were going to fall off. Went for mountain drive yesterday through some uphill twisties and the car just wanted to run and run and run. Felt like a little race car and steering was just awesome! I am convinced that All-Season tires are not the ticket when it gets over 65-70 degrees. Everything starts to get mushy when warmer.

my suggestion, take a look at the suspension too.
especially the rear.
Since we have had temps in the 70s and 80 (the last 3 weeks) my car's ride had taken a turn for the worse.
The slopiness over bumps/irregularities was unbearable -
popped in new struts and WOW!

Not what I wanted to hear about the all seasons... just ordered some new Cooper Zeon Sport A/S (fall and spring driving in Colorado).... Did the Toyo's always act that way or is this a new development as the tread wore.

I kind of remember that when the weather took a quick change, my car behaved differently. Guess summer tires are made for a reason. I like my Toyo tires usually, and have never had any problems with them. I have nearly 30k on them and have treated me well. Now that the tread is getting low, they just don't ride well in the heat as compared with a newer tread.
