New Secret AUDI Transport tested at the Nurburgring
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/1510/nurburgring_bus_2.jpg"></center><p>I shot this picture at the North course at the Nurburgring Thursday afternoon. The bus didn't quite drift around the corner, but he was going pretty fast!!
The Nurburgring was fast and exciting!! 20KM track at racing speeds around 190 corners with traffic at most corners with almost no passing controls...meaning...pass any car you want, but always pass on the left...at any speed you want!
A lot of B5 RS4 Avants, a couple of new B7 RS4's, several TT's, several B6 S4's and A4's...plus a Ferrari F40, Porsches, Lotus's, all kinds of motorcycles, BMW M3's, M5's...etc....PLUS... the Bus!!

I drove the new RS4 there for a full day without any locals this past November as part of the Audi
...Audi Driving Experience. We had a small group of Americans, another group from the U.K. and a larger group from Italy. And we had the whole track to ourselves for the day.
Before the event, another American and myself took our rental (MB diesel) on the Ring for 3 laps each with the normal local traffic. What a hoot.
It's a "must drive" track.
If you go, it's worth hiring A BMW Ring Taxi, so I've heard.
Or if you really want to go see it go by quickly, book a ride with the Zakspeed ViperJet. We were fully air borne twice and reach a top speed of around 165 mph in heavy traffic.
BTW: The Italians were by far the fastest group.
