Just sold my A4, looking at 2001 Audi TT Roadster (225hp)....have questions
The car has 55k miles on it and has a Neuspeed chip. I see that the next maintenance service check is at 60k, should I be expecting any major fixes like when I took my A4 in for a 90k service and came out payin $3,300? What did you experience at 60k? Is it also true that having a chip can increase the likelihood of having more maintenance problems? I'm debating between this TT and an S2000 and understand maintenance for the TT is very high (Prospective college student w/ no money),but I can't see myself getting away from the Audi family!

At 60K. $800-1000 + $4-600 for the 60K servicing if you have a tech do it. If you'll have no money for maintenance you may be better off with the S2K. Many TT's have been troublefree, but when things go they tend to be expensive.
NS chip is the mildest available for the TT. Don't worry about tis chip causing additional issues.
