New Honda Civic SI vs Audi TT 225QC
On my local forum, there is a nice young man who owns a new 06 Si. He is pretty confident he can beat me at our local 1/4 mile track.
I have a stock 2001 TT QC I have 18's with Nitto 555's but they are actually ligter than the stock wheels/tires so I doubt this will be much of a factor.
I'm going out friday because I want to get a baseline 1/4 mile time without mods.
He wants to run me and put 50 dollars on it. It's ust a friendly bet so its something I can back out of easily... Hes pretty confident though.
He told me he has an intake and a catback. He had the car dynoed as well after these mods and I saw the dynosheet in person, so I know hes not hiding anything...

Now, the SI is much lighter and quicker on its feet... but I think I can out muscle this guy.
Its an easy 50 bucks and I still have the choice to decline.
What do you think boys? Go for it, or take my girlfriend out to eat and look cooler than the guy in the Honda?

I did a quick search and came up with this, i'm sure you can find plenty more just to give you an idea of the fighting chances. I raced my buddies 2005 SI a week or two ago- it wasn't even close. I hit a 14.7 he was struggling to make it in the 15's. The SI is really a joke. Scratch that- Civics are really a joke!
