allow the turbo to work like that. Best of all, it's still at 70% duty cycle. I guess I have no pressure drop anymore

My new electronic boost gauge looks stuck at 1.5 bar until I shift. I estimate that to be over 240 g/s at 6000. A Cayman had no chance in Buttonwillow

Now if I can only upload video to a host.

Our TT doesn't sound like a TT.

Default That sounds like what I see on my MTM chipped 225....

I usually see a peak of 1.7, with sustained boost at 1.5....

your car holds 22psi up to 6K rpm on stock K04?

Default Yes. It was called MTM gen II that I bought the ECU + chip from Strat in '01.

Never saw this thing hold greater than 15 psi before, and I my peak g/s recorded back then was 204 with a cone intake, stock exhaust.

It is pretty much controlling the turbo the same way, but most likely there is no boost lost from the plumbing and intercooler setup, and the free flowing exhaust (with stock cats still) most likely allow the turbine to spin faster than what the ECU controlling it with the N75 think it's doing.

Once I get an A/F gauge, I will either boost it up manually or get a more aggressive program (Revo? Dahlback?) and see what a little K04 can really do.

It is quicker than my friend's Stage III A4 now, and seems to have much higher top end power. This is all on 91 octane too.

I was on 5th gear, triple digits at the Buttonwillow straights. My 12V A4 hits 90mph. I'd like to upload the video so folks can hear this thing. I also had been taking many pictures and how-to of my work to share when I find a good host for both vid and pics - so I don't have to remember too many passwords

Default thats a lot of boost for a K04. I can hold 22psi upto 5K tops, then it will drop to 18 or so.

Thats on a really good day too. Normally it will hold at 20psi. Your intercooler helps retain performance, but on the first couple of WOTs same should be true for stock intercoolers also. Are you saing you had a boost leak before or do you believe that FMIC reduces boost loss because of characteristics other than reduced temperature?
