LOOKING 4 a replacement part.....
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/104953/dscn2612_copy.jpg"></center><p>I am looking for the rain guard/ black plastic faring that sits just below and attached to the windshield.[TT225Q]
It covers the access to the interior air intake filter and ecu...the wiper axels and spritzers stick thru it. There is a plastic VIN window on it too. I cracked the part badly when I was putting the ecu back in after having it revo chipped...[too excited to try it out, I guess, too hasty]
Does anyone on the list have this part or a wrecked TT They might sell the part to me off of?
[Or know anybody who does]?

BIG MAHALO to Stilljester for the part #
After contacting every audi breaker yard I can find in Cal & NY the part is not available used..
seems everybody's got a similar prob, the part gets brittle from the heat, of which there is plenty in that area.
$126- from the audi dealer. NOT covered under CPO.
might as well buy a new one as all the old ones will be brittle anyway...
