Default 225 CPO Price opinion?

Hi guys. I'm in Socal, and still lusting after a TT. I may have found a perfect candidate for me. 2004 Black/Black 225, Audio, 18's, and Premium packages, w/~32k miles. Asking price is 32,900.

Should I be able to get the price down to 31,000 even, do you think it's a fair price? From the pics I've seen, the car is in great shape, and as it's a 2004 CPO, I still have plenty of warranty left.

Thanks for your feedback!

Default roadster or coupe?

not sure what the market is like in SoCal but that seems a little high to me (in the notheastUS)

also 32K mi is fairly high for an 04

unless it has EVERYTHING you want, I'd keep looking

cheers

Default i would check>>

how many TTs are out there (ie, supply/demand)
even around $30K for a CPO TT seems high to me with the mkII TT out and all sorts of other good cars in the price range

another consideration: you can save more going for an 02 or 03, basically the same car.. many good ones out there

now if you have the TT bug and gotta have it..
welcome to the club

cheers

CPO?

There's a yellow one (fully loaded cpo '04 3.2) that I'm sure I could talk down to about 31k...

Its not CPO, got it from a benz dealer, but still 2 years left on warranty, I am planning on getting a MKII TTR when they come out (should be aboue the time my warranty runs out) so I wasnt worried about that...

Default Sounds a tad high, but clean late model coupes are very hard to come by right now, and like it or

not, the demand for 225's is much better than the demand for 3.2's.

I would try hard for 31k but don't be surprised if the dealer has too much in the car to do it at that price.
