Default Your thoughts, please... Since the tranny is coming out of my car...

I am thinking to get ECS Ultimate Timing Belt Kit installed (54k on the car), and ECS Stage III Clutch Kit with Light Weight Aluminum Flywheel installed. Any pros and cons??? Thanks!

Default Agree with Steve. Plus most likely shortened drivetrain lifespan. Don't do it. I warned a few

friends who done it and are now switching back.

Default The first time I drove my car after, I thought someone had dumped marbles into my intake manifold.

It's pretty noisy.

Of course, that's not with ECS's parts.

I won't put anything ECS on my car ever again, and if I could afford to, I'd remove what was on there now.

Default I'm quite happy with my new SPEC Stage 2 clutch and

new OEM flywheel. Nice, strong, smooth combo. If you need to go up to a Stage 2+ or Stage 3, the OEM flywheel (or LUK dual-mass replacement) is still the way to go.

Default I like Dieselgeek...

Seems to be a little cheaper than the 'ultimate' kit at ECS too.<ul><li><a href="http://www.dieselgeek.com/Detail.bok?no=278">Clicky</a></li></ul>
