Are there any alternatives to the Mantis gauge pod?

$300 is simply too much to pay right now for a CNC'ed gauge pod, ive seen other simpler designs but who makes them and how much are they.
i might either custom make one, out either CF of fiberglass, and paint it, or go with the EFU.

BTW iam not looking for a vent or pillar pod.

Anything else is probably ricey. Yes, they are expensive, but there is alot of labor

undertaken to make one. There isn't alot of profit in these things, imho.

I agree, it a greatly crafted piece, but iam a student and that much for a guage pod is notjustified

then your best bet sounds like finding a mantis used.
