Developed a squeak in driver side door. Dealer sprayed white grease all over it (which I now have to
clean up). Squeak still there and so dealer says I need a new hinge. Sounds fishy to me. A sqeak is a result of dry rubbing so just get a lubricant in there and it should go away. Am I wrong? Do I need a new hinge? Just does not sound right to me.

mine did the same thing...
The dealer put some light oil on both doors just in case and they have been great ever since. it was almost a motor oil color though not white. Don't buy into the new hinge thing... If you put it on your self though get enough to let it really soak in and drip, and don't actually whipe the hinge off.
