So are you actually anywhere near serious about coming out here to run for slips?

Default I'd really like to see how their kit compares to APR's.

I mean, both are really effing impressive, but I've only ever personally experienced APR's.

I'd like to see what Del Rio's is like.

Default It's not really about kit vs kit though..........

Since APR has a standard "kit" which you can buy off the shelf with programming etc. Del Rio really doesn't. They can assemble a "kit" and have programming for certain configurations - they don't really have an off the shelf kit - at least not that I know of.

It's apparant that APR is now offering more "custom" stuff - and that is what Del Rio really does - set up what you want and then program accordingly.

No doubt in my mind both could provide you with what you want.

Default user tunable software is what we really need...

a friend of mine just built a 90 eagle talon TSi track car. On the way to Hallett, him and his copilot were tuning the car the whole way. they burnt like 7 eproms and switched them out until they got a tune they were satisfied with. Made me jealous.

Default I guess that is fine if you have the knowledge, time and a dyno

but if you don't - it's alot of time and effort. I don't - my time is too valuable - and dyno time is too expensive - plus I need my car everyday. I can live without it for a couple days or a week or so at most.

Lot's of Vortex guys have adapted standalone systems to their cars, some with greater success than others - others have learned the hard way and are on there second or third engine block :-)
