Back from the RX8 meet. Saw the CX7. Had a decent time. No TT meet, but hey...>>>
It was a good turn out despite the weather (made me think about most TTE meets with rain). Different kind of crowd. Good folks. Always good to hang around people that love their cars. However, as most of you know the RX8 isn't mod friendly outside of aesthetics so the discussions centered around springs, kits, stereos, etc. The dealer that hosted the meet was very nice and provided a CX7 for our review and test drive. Everyone was also offered a new RX8 at dealer cost less 1,800.00. Here are a few photos if you care.

The CX7 was okay. I'm not a SUV or crossover fan so I'm not going to review it. The price is what's going to sell a lot of these things. Fully loaded (inc touch screen DVD nav) tops out at 34.5k.

Has a little lag Steve on WOT. However, I'm sure you can dial that out. Overall >>>
a very different type of crossover vehicle. I kinda like it if I were into such rides. It has a different feel than most SUVs or COVs i've been in. You would like it.

The bay is properly sized for the current Rotery engine. Mazda needs a proper sports car for their line up.
