Default How should new rotors look?

I know, kind of an odd question... never installed a new set of rotors before. I know they are a cheap, forged piece of metal but should they be pristine or are the ones I posted below normal? I see some scratches, nicks, etc. These are supposed to be "coated" in zinc, zimmermans from germany. Boxes looked legit and they are stamped correctly, so that's all good. Just want to make sure they are decent before I go to the trouble of installing them.

Those look fine - don't forget to clean them to get the gunk off.

Default Wipe it off with brake cleaner?

Now I have to decide if I am going to tempt fate with the mintex red box.

Default Yes, that will work. Jeff has a good write up here:
