Then under the hood, I did decide to cut the holes in the stock airbox, despite alot of negativity, and I must say, I recommend this mod to anyone. A stock airbox is really easy to come by, so it's not really a loss if you decide you don't like it, it only took me about 45 minutes to do, and I get a nice intake sound in second and third as well as a little (although very faint) sound from the stock diverter valve. I also replaced the stock battery with an Optima Yellow Top and removed the battery covers, though I'm still not sure what I'll do with the fuse box, it kinds just sits there now. Here's a shot of the battery, and you can see a little in the rear where the airbox was cut to allow the filter to be open to the engine compartment.

Finally, I used some silver and red reflective tapes to recover the Audi rings and 5V Turbo on the main cover. Here's an overall shot...

I also covered the TT emblem on the back with silver reflective tape, but that wouldn't be much of a picture, so I didn't take one.
