Tip for you who want to remove the wing
I used a flexible thin spatula the kind you use for plastering. Slide it between the wing and car and tap away slowly. Not a scratch on my trunk and it cuts thru the rubber glue they used. I got the wing off in 30 minutes. I think thats a lot better than the other recored times like 3-4 hours.

i dunno why everyone makes such a big deal of this.. it's the same adhesive they've always used
on spoilers... I have, the same way you mention, removed the spoiler from numerous 80 quattros which of course have had many more years for the goo to harden... being in a warm climate helps... would be a bad idea to try and tackle this on a January morning in Minnesota.

I did this recently, don't recommend it to anyone...
The body shop and I took about 3 hours to get the damn thing off. Never mind the cost to paint and replace a defective spoiler (that Audi claims "outside interference" and not covered under warranty. **** YOU AUDI!!!)
