Lots of Electrical Stuff Up and Working - Finally
Got the gauge pack fully wired including digital voltage/analog oil temp and pressure, got the lidatek laser wired, got the Alpine system fully working with GPS (very sweet), and auxilliary wires run for flashing the brake light when lidatek laser is working, and signal run to mute radio on lidatek laser operation.
This weekend I should get the oil cooler and oil transducer installed and the lidatek laser firer mounted and fully operational.
Hope to rework my angel eyes and relocate my Hella horns too.
This actually was the 2nd install of this because I removed the gauge pack to replace a VDO voltage gauge with a digital gauge. I got a machine shop to mill the rectangular hole for the digital gauge. The digital gauge only sits proud of the surface by 1mm.
I love the Alpine unit and its display is brilliant, but I can no longer close the little TT door over it. If it goes further back in, then the screen will hit the vents. I have GPS, iPOD, DVD, and XM all integrated with the unit.
Steve's little camera mount is just the final touch and well worth the money for it.
