Absolutely. If you've been to the military cemetaries in Europe...
you can't help be moved to realize that every cross or star of david represents an American that left everything he held dear to go do his duty in a foreign land, and never came home. When you look out and see thousands of them (like at Normandy in the beginning of Saving Private Ryan)or at Hamm, Luxembourg where Patton is buried, or the countless others from two world wars, it's pretty damned sobering. God bless all who served, suffered, and sacrificed, and their families too.
