Default About the design of the new TT

The line I put inside the red oval really bothers me. I don't like the way it angles up towards the rear of the car and I really dislike the fact that the rear fender flares are cut short by it. Any of you photoshop experts care to remove the line and have the fenders flare all the way round like the current one? I think it would look MUCH better.

Of course taking that line away will also remove the other line I have trouble with: The continuation of that line around the rear bumper. Feel free to remove that as well :-)

I won't even get into the interior of the car because I don't have the time to describe the things I don't like about it.

Default Yes! That jumped out at me too

The leading edge of the rear fender is just goofy now becuase of all that flat sheet metal at the base.

Default See, I look at that line as a variation on the current car...

Note the red lines...

Default yeah but see how on the current car how the fender curve continues into the lower sill?

On the new car the fender line seems to stop too high up, it looks awkward and forced IMO.

Default Well if we are complaining... this is the part of the car I HATE!

This angle around the plate surround make no sense! Oh either does the round steering wheel! Funny how they eliminated every round element but the the steering wheel... I think they should have kept the fishmouth airbag from the A3!

Yep, that too. I can only imagine it looking even worse with a US plate in there.

Default I don't mind there being a line, just not one that makes the car look like it is snorting the road.

The nose-to-the-ground look is fine on more angular cars but the TT (both old and new) is too round to pull that look off effectively and that is why the horizontal nature of that car works in the current version and doesn't in the future version. All IMO, obviously.
