so audi of nashua wants to charge me a hundred bucks to toot my broken horn so they can say let's replace the engine... those tools will squeze every penny out of you if they can. So i did a little testing. my panic button does in fact work and the alarm works fine.. but the horn still doesnt work.. Is it a different horn? If it is, can i wire the regular horn button to the alarm horn? I just don't wanna get hosed on repairs here... also, i dont want to go through the pain in the *** job of replacing my horns to find out it was the switch all along.. thanks for any adivce guys, and sorry to those who hated my racing post.

Different horn.
Get yourself a pair of horns from JC Whitney for about $20. Look for a post from Schwing, I believe he went that route. Search should pull something up.
Then you'll need a jack and a pair of jackstands. Pull your front bumper off and replace the horns. They are prone to failure and more than likely the cause of your problems. You'll want to get familiar with pulling the front bumper because if you hang out here much longer you're going to need to do it when you go with a set of clear corners, and Angel Eyes, and an FMIC....and numerous other mods that will require bumper removal.

You can just replace them yourself
