Please review the following TTQR Audio setup and advise
Hi everyone,
I am looking to spend around a grand on the hardware for a good Roadster setup. What do you think of the below regarding compatibility, quality, ease of installation, cost and future upgradeability (GPS, Sat, another sub, etc)?

I wouldn't put anything less then a 10" in the car, especially if you are going with a single sub.
A good 10" is perfect for the car this size. I absolutely love the way mine sounds and my amp is not that great. Every single person that has ever been in my car commented on how nice the bass is and could not believe that a little 10" was behind it.

I would like to keep the stock location for the sub - will a 10" fit?
I like the mods to be really stealth, as much as possible.
Considering that I have a 6" BOSE there, and after a few searches, I thought that an 8" is the most I can fit.
Maybe one day I will eliminate the upper box for the second sub but want to keep it clean for now.
What do you think?

look into other companies....>
Focal makes great component speakers, they will sound great. I wouldnt take an amp by infinity either, make it a JL 4 ch. deal and power the fronts, and use the other two ch. for the sub. you can have the best speakers ever, if you still have midrange amps you still have so so quality sound.

Is it better to squeeze in one 10" or two 6.5" subs? I don't want a booming bass, just solid and tight.
