Default x post from AWOT...Japanese cars aren't perfect

it's not just us with our multitude of coil pack and cluster failures. 40 pages<ul><li><a href="http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39553&amp;page=3">Z board</a></li></ul>

Default Do we have any idea how experienced these drivers are?

If these are all manual transmissions (seems like most are), driver experience with manual transmissions could well be a factor.

Default yeah I could go around bangin the gears on my TT and screw up my syncros pretty fast if I wanted...

but still, the Z32 300ZX transmissions were a lot more solid than the new ones sound like.

Default Considering there are 40 pages worth and people with multiple failures...

It's not completely impossible but pretty improbable it's driver error. Then there's the fact that they are posting on an enthusiasts forum which would be an indication that at least a majority of them might know what they are doing. Never mind the fact that many of them mention the tranny's being replaced multiple times without as much as a fight from corporate, all are pretty good indications that something is very wrong.
